无线宽带多输入/多输出信道上基于正交余弦变换的累进图像鲁棒传输

摘    要:基于空时块编码、正交频分复用(OFDM)和非均衡错误保护技术(UEP),构建了一个具有4个发送天线(4Tx)和2个接收天线(2Rx)的宽带多输入/多输出(MIMO)累进图像鲁棒传输系统,并设计了一种简化的最小均方误差(MMSE)检测器.同时,提出了一种基于正交余弦变换(DCT)的累进图像编码算法(MSPDCT).该算法按一定方式将子块DCT系数重组排列后,采用嵌入式零树小波编码(EZW)技术相似的结构,并运用简单的均值去除方法进一步降低重组DC系数块的冗余信息.实验结果证明,本文构建的基于MSPDCT的图像传输系统在无线宽带MIMO衰落信道上具有很好的传输鲁棒性,且比基于小波变换的累进图像传输系统更易实现.

Abstract:A robust progressive image transmission system with four transmit antenna and two receive antenna over wireless wideband multi-input multi-output(MIMO) fading channels was designed, using space-time block codes, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) and unequal error protection(UEP). In addition to a designed minimun mean square error(MMSE) detector specified for the system, one progressive image compression method based on discrete cosine transform(DCT) called MSPDCT was proposed with a similar structure to that of embedded zerotree wavelet(EZW) and a simple mean-subtract method for its reorganized DC blocks. The experiments show that the proposed progressive image communication system based on MSPDCT is more robust over wireless wideband fading channels in addition to the advantage of easily implementations.
