| Abstract: | UV Vis spectra of TS 1 synthesized using TPABr as the templating agent are studied. The influence factors on the strength of the 270-280 nm peak, such as the way to prepare the gel, the amount of template, the complexing agent are also discussed. It has been observed that crystallization condition has little influence on the strength of the peak while the amount of TPABr has some effect. The strength of the peak decreases largely if a complexing agent is used or the zeolite is treated with acid. |
