Study of the Meaning of the Balance between Convergent Thinking and Divergent Thinking in Reform of New Curriculum

Creative thinking consists of both convergent thinking and divergent thinking.In the process of formation and development of the creative thinking,convergent thinking and divergent thinking play different roles and become the necessity in the process of the whole thinking.With the development of quality-oriented education and new curriculum reform of elementary education,the balance between convergent thinking and divergent thinking should be highlighted by educators so that the education objective to cultivate creative persons can be achieved.
