Along with the arrival of information age,the information literacy,being as the necessary condition of the life-long learning and knowledge innovation,has become the focus of the attention of educatory circles of many countries.This paper introduces the present situation of information literacy education of university students,explains the necessity of university＇s information literacy education,expounds the connotations of information literacy and the requirements of university＇s information literacy,and probes into the role that university library should play in information age.
