| Abstract: | Summary Bovine pancreatic polypeptide increases DNA-synthesis in the rat pancreas; no effect is observed in stomach (oxyntic area), duodenum or liver. BPP neither augments or inhibits the trophic action of cholecystokinin.Acknowledgment. Pure pancreatic polypeptide was donated by Dr. R. E.
