Abstract:Abstract:In this paper, meso-structure of aluminum foam was analyzed and the pores of aluminum foam materials were equivalent to the round holes. The holes, whose positions were random and the size conformed to the statistical law, were produced through C++ program. This would serve as the foundation of the two-dimensional modeling. Finite element software ANSYS was used to simulate the two-dimensional compression model. Under the condition of small distortion, the mechanical properties such as elastic modulus, platform stress, etc. was studied. Compares with the experiment, their results are closer.
