The Application of Optical Fiber in the Switch Equipment

Optical fiber has been used increasingly in electrical equipment for its excellent quality. In the switch cabinet, optical fiber technology finds application in the collection, transmission and control of data, which significantly not only improves the quality of switch equipment but also for coordinates and matches with the optical fiber net. With the switch cabinet on, the signal measurement can be fulfilled, and this makes information arrive at the control computer through the optical fiber. The screen can show the parameters of the power: voltage, electric current and so on. Meanwhile, a distant higher computer can show the date, and the workers are able to operate the electromagnetic machinery directly from corresponding interface and perform the action of ON or OFF.
