分布式虚拟地形场景仿真研究

摘    要:随着分布式虚拟GIS在仿真和军事中的应用需求,大范围,海量地形数据在网络环境下实时绘制技术成为GIS研究的重点之一。主要探讨了大范围、海量地形数据在网络环境下的分布式数据组织,基于服务器和客户端多级地形LOD模型的三维地形场景的实时交互绘制方法,最后通过实验系统对上述方法进行了验证,实验表明采用该方法建立的分布式虚拟地形场景,能有效减少网络传输的数据量,并且符合人对地形场景的观察习惯。

Abstract:The increasing application demand of distributed virtual GIS in terrain landscape and military has made real-time interactive browsing massive terrain data in large areas under network environment. The method was discussed to organize distributed massive data. The multilevel LOD model was proposed, which was constructed as static LOD model at server side and constructed as a view-dependent LOD model at client side. Concerned with aspects of visualization interface and multi-users environment, a Web-based distributed virtual terrain system prototype was developed and some advices were discussed which are the next step in the research fields.
