| Abstract: | The collagen of deer skin was extracted by means of acid extraction and pepsin digest extraction methods. The contents of moisture, ashes, nitrogen, trace elements, hydroproline, molecular weights of hydroproline, amino acids and ability of water maintained were determined in the collagen of deer skin. Under the same experimental conditions, the properties of collagens extracted from calf and pig skin were compared with those of the collagen of deer skin. |
