行为科学研究设计与理论建构的一种重要策略--层面理论述评

层面理论将理论构建、研究设计、变量选择、数据分析系统地整合起来,提供了一种理论建构与研究设计的范式,使研究者能够界定研究所涉及的所有概念。与其它传统方法相比,层面理论在探索理论结构方面具有许多优点,因而在全球范围内受到了越来越多的关注。当前,这一领域的研究在我国尚属空白状态,对层面理论的基本技术原理做了简要述评,旨在促进对这一领域的了解。

Facet theory: an approach to facilitate theory construction and research design

Facet theory integrates theory construction, research design, variables selection, and data analysis in a systematic way. It provides a framework by which researchers can definite the concepts involved in the study formally and exhaustively. Compared with other conventional approaches, facet theory has many advantages in exploring theoretical structure. Hence, there is increasing concern about it over continents. But no study is about it in China so far. This article introduces the principle and basic techniques to open a window for understanding this significant strategy. And the advantages, limits, and oppugners were also discussed concisely.
