高管海外经历对于企业绿色创新水平的影响研究

摘    要:基于2008—2020年中国A股上市公司数据,从微观层面考察高管海外经历对企业绿色创新的影响。研究发现,高管海外经历主要通过环保意识提升效应、短视主义抑制效应、技术逆向溢出效应对企业绿色创新产生促进作用。研究还表明,媒体关注度和政府补贴均在高管海外经历对于绿色创新的促进过程中发挥正向调节作用。高管海外经历仅在企业成长期有显著作用,且工作经历对绿色创新的促进作用比留学经历更为有效。

Abstract:Based on data from Chinese A share listed companies from 2008 to 2020, this study examines the impact of executive overseas experiences on green innovation at a micro level. Research has found that executives overseas experiences mainly promote green innovation in enterprises through environmental awareness enhancement effects, short sighted suppression effects, and technology reverse spillover effects. The study also indicates that media attention and government subsidies play a positive moderating role in the promotion of green innovation by executive overseas experiences. The overseas experience of executives only has a significant impact on the growth stage of the company, and work experience is more effective in promoting green innovation than the experience of studying abroad.
