THE ARTIFICIAL BREEDING AND PROTECTION OF GIANT PANDA

This paper teports the scientific value, ornamental value, and some question on the artificial breeding of "Giant Panda.According to the statistical data obtained from all of the artificial breeding Giant Panda. I calculate that the generaldeveloping trend of Giant Panda population will be that the death rate is still forger than the survival rate of infant GiantPanda under the condition of artificial, rearing. I stress that a pressing matter of the moment is to strenthen the scientificrearing, management, and the prevention and cure of disease of Giant Panda's, at the same time, we will lose no timeto do the research work for raising the normal oestrus and mating of female Giant Pandas, the impregnation andtarrowing rate of Giant Pande, and the survial rate of infant Giant Panda, so that all of the Giant Panda can achievethe gole of inheriting their future generations. If we only depend on the reared Giant Pandas as a reproducing population,the population growth of Giant Pandas will go down to its doom. According to the present question which exist both inthe rearing and breeding and scientific researchs to the Giant Panda, we have still made a suggestion in this paper.
