真空灭弧室的电弧老炼作用

摘    要:介绍负荷电流开断电弧对真空开关灭弧室的老炼作用。电气试验表明,经数十次150A的电弧老炼,可基本消除灭弧室开断后的重击穿现象,老炼效果良好。触头金相观测证实,电弧的阴极电极获得显著的改善,阳极稍有改善。阴极表面的凸起、凹陷被削平,杂质被清除。此外,由于电弧高温熔融和随后的快速凝冷过程形成了细化的结晶,使原电极表层金相偏析缺陷得以改善,从而提高了间隙的绝缘性能。

Abstract:The paper describes conditioning effects of load current interruption on vacuum interrupter. Electrical tests show that the post arc restriking on the interrupter can be essentially eliminated by interrupting with the current of 150 A several tens times. Metallographic examination of the tested contacts denoted significant improvement of the cathode surface condition, while the anode has only a light change. On the cathode surface, uneven configuration and impurities have been seriously eliminated. In addition, owing to local heating under high temperature followed by fast cooling and condensation, the cathode surface forms a finer crystalized layer, this process is supposed to be of importance to the improvement of the insulation property of the vacuum interrupter.
