叶笃正:青藏高原气象学的奠基人

叶笃正作为中国的杰出气象学家,是大气科学和气象业务的奠基人之一,为新中国的气象学界培养了大批人才。在他的学术成就中,最引人注目的就是他通过冷源、热源学说的建立以及对高原动力问题的探索等最终开创了青藏高原气象学这一学科。

Ye Duzheng: The Founder of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau Meteorology

As an outstanding physicist throughout the world, Ye Duzheng is one of the independent founders of Atmospheric Science and Meteorological operations.Among his great academic achievements, the most remarkable ones are the establishment of the Qinghai-Xizang plateau meteorology research through the theory of the source of heat, the source of cold and the research in the area of Plateau dynamics.In his research, he analyzed the significance, key technology and major objective of this new area.He also pointed out that more emphasis should be put on several research approaches.He made an extraordinary contribution to the construction and development of the Qinghai-Xizang plateau meteorology research.A review of the advances in Qinghai-Xizang plateau meteorology research of Ye Duzheng is made in this paper, which also reviews the major progress from the aspects of his meteorology.
