中低空急流带内的强对流天气的风暴强度指数

摘    要:根据国家气象局资料中心提供的历史探空资料分析了华南和华东地区的一次强对流天气的生命史过程,观测研究表明:中低空急流的爆发和急流内大风中心的传播是这次强对流天气主要的动力学条件。风暴强度指数Iss(storms severity index)能够分别表征浮力能和风垂直切变的强弱。计算Iss表明,华南和华东地区中低空急流带的强对流天气是在弱热力学条件和强动力学条件出现的。

Abstract:Based on the radiosonde observation datum from the Meteorological Administration, a life cycle process of severe convective weather in the south and east of China is analysed. The observation and research indicate that the primary dynamic condition of this severe convective weather is the eruption of the middle and lower tropospheric jet and the propagation of the gale center. The storms severity index(SSI) can respectively expresses the intensity of the convective available potential energy and the vertical wind shear. The result of computing the SSI indicates that the severe convective weather in the south and east of China appears in strong dynamic condition and weak thermodynamic condition.
