受“丝绸之路”影响．以东汉为界，金银器工艺开始脱离青铜器制作的窠臼．逐渐发展成一门独立的工艺．到唐代．受异域文化的影响，金银器技术得到了空前的繁荣和发展。但仍体现着中国传统工艺的特点．从唐代金银器的工艺、器形和纹饰3个方面，论述了它对中国传统金属工艺的承接．

The Chinese Traditional Metal Crafts Reflected in Gold and Silver Wares of Tang Dynasty

The manufacturing of gold and silver wares belonged to the techniques of bronze casting in ancient China. Since east Han Dynasty,gold and silver crafts have become an independent crafts and not inflected by techniques of bronze casting. Gold and silver crafts of the Tang Dynasty were distinguished by its exquisite workmanship and refined decoration when more exotic items flooded in. With absorption,imitation and infusion of foreign elements,especially through the Silk Road,the Chinese artisans created a native style of metal works through the indigenous interpretation of Western classical designs, which showed a fresh,colorful,sophisticated and elegant flavor. The gold and silver wares of Tang Dynasty inherited the Chinese traditional metal crafts are discussed in the aspects of crafts, style and decorative patterns.
