Level of Plasma IL-10,IL-19 and IL-20 in Unstable Angina Patients

Objective：To evaluate the role of plasma interleukin（IL）-10 family（IL-10,IL-19 and IL-20） in patients with unstable angina.Methods：Peripheral blood was collected from 52 patients with coronary heart disease,including 36 patients with unstable angina pectoris（UAP group）and 16 patients with stable angina pectoris（SAP group）.Selecting 20 cases healthy,age and gender matched,as controls（control group）.IL-10,IL-19 and IL-20 concentrations were measured by ELISA.Results：The level of IL-10 was found to be lower in UAP group compared with the SAP group and the control group（both P0.01）.The levels of IL-10 of the SAP group and the control group were no significant difference（P0.05）.The level of IL-19 was found to be higher in UAP group and SAP group compared with the control group（respectively P0.01 and P0.05）.The level of IL-20 was found to be higher in UAP group and SAP group as compared with the control group（both P0.01）.The levels of IL-19 and IL-20,especially,were found to be increased in UAP group compared with SAP group（both P0.05）.Conclusion：The research suggests that the down-regulation of IL-10 and the up-regulation of IL-19 and IL-20 may play an import role in the progression of atherosclerosis plaque unstability and the clinical sign of unstable angina patients.
