The quantity of our country's E-book has ranked the top in the world. Because of the unprecedented prosperity of E-book, more and more public libraries begin to pay great attention to the construction of E-book resource. Connecting with the practice of the book purchasing of Wenzhou Library, this paper probes into the significance of E-book on the public library, introduces the principles, tactics and experiments of purchasing E-book, and how to grasp the quantity and degree of the purchasing of E-book, which can be used for reference for the construction of the electronic resources of municipal libraries.
