| Abstract: | A mathematical model of ignition for the cluster of coal is put forward based on the theories of the homogeneous ignition and gas-solid reactions, by which the interior temperature field of the cluster and the concentration distributions of both oxygen and gaseous products of combustion near the cluster surface are calculated numerically in the period of ignition. The results by the model are in agreement with those measured in experiment with a single briquette. |
