碱性介质中正丁醇在Pt电极上氧化和吸附的EQCM研究

摘    要:用电化学循环伏安和石英晶体微天平研究了碱性介质中正丁醇(1-BL)在Pt电极上氧化和吸附过程。结果表明正丁醇的氧化与溶液酸碱性关系密切。酸性介质中正丁醇在Pt电极上的CV曲线有两个正向氧化峰,而碱性介质中只有一个正向氧化峰,第二个氧化峰的消失可能是由于碱性介质中电极钝化引起的;负向电位扫描中正丁醇在碱性介质中观察不到负向氧化峰,而酸性介质中正丁醇的氧化出现阳极支与阴极支相互交错的伏安行为,表明碱性介质中正丁醇在Pt电极上氧化不遵循双途径机理,本文还从表面质量定量变化的角度提供了碱性介质中正丁醇反应机理的新数据。

Abstract:he processes of adsorption and oxidation of 1-butanol in alkaline media on Pt electrodes were studied by using cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM). The results demonstrated that the oxidation of 1-butanol depends strongly on oxidation states of electrode surface and the acidity of the solution. CV curves illustrated that the oxidation of 1-butanol in acidic media occurs in two oxidation peaks in the positive-going potential sweep and one large oxidation peak in the negative-going potential sweep, while in alkaline media the oxidation of 1-butanol occurs in one oxidation peaks in the positive-going potential sweep and no oxidation peak in the negative-going potential sweep. In contrast with the dual path reaction mechanism for the oxidation of 1-butanol in acid media, the oxidation of 1-butanol in alkaline media wasn't via the intermediate process of dissociative adsorption. The EQCM studies provided quantitative results of surface mass changes during 1-butanol oxidation, and have thrown new light in elucidating reaction mechanism of adsorption and oxidation of 1-butanol on Pt electrode.
