Quasicrystals-a New Class of Ordered Structure in Solid

Qu asierystals are a new class of ordered materials, which differ fromn anyone of crystals and non-erystals. Quasierystals havo lony-range quasiperi-odic translational order and long-range orientational order of bond. In this paper, We will introduce the concept of quasicryslals. We then discuss the formation of a quasilattic and our computation of the diffraction pattern of a cuasilattic. Finally, we compare a few special orientational diffraction patterns calculated by us with ones taken from electron diffraction experiments, quaiitatjv ly.
