| Abstract: | The stochastic finite element equation for reliability analysis of engineering structures is proposed. In this paper the assumption of normal distribution of random variables and the first order pertubation method are adopted. This method has many advantages. The achievement of general finite element analysis can be made use of. The programme design and digital sampling are very simple. |
