摘    要:甘薯天蛾个体大,容易饲养产量高,取食甘薯叶片,寄主广。营养价值高:幼虫和蛹的必需氨基酸含量都在50%以上,必需氨基酸指数比鱼粉和其他昆虫高一倍以上;某些不饱和脂肪酸含量特高;同时具有丰富的矿物质,有很好的开发前途。

Abstract:The protein quality of Herse convolvuli L. was evaluated by amino acid and fatty acids analysis. Pupae and matured larvae were found to have a mean dry weight (males and females combined) of 1- 1g and 2. 15g respectively and a crude protein content of 53- 5% . The content of amino acids of the insect is in excess of fish-powder. So was Methionine and Arginine, the limiting amino acids for fish growing. Essential amino acids (EAA) accounted for 51% of the total amino acids, much higher than fish-powder. All the EAA were present in greater amounts than in whole egg protein. The results of this study indicate that the insect proteins are equivalent or superior to fish-powder as a source of amino acids for fish growing.
