A REVIEW ON THE ARTICLE "ANALOGOUS RESEARCH ONSLAG TRAPPING IN DOWNGATE

This review lays emphsis on demonstrating ( 1 ) he tscientific truthfulness and objective reality of the analogous experiments published under the title of "Analogous Research on Slag Trapping in Downgate"* .( 2 ) the false concept of the various slag's behavior occuring in liquid metal and again in the casting of G.C..Iron, in view of the slag forming mechanism and its se -paration. And ( 3 ) the natural rule governing non-separation of slag from cast-iron stream flow during pouring straght into the sprue, and the diver- sity of phenomena in the case of adding silicon sand into spure on certain conditions.
