| Abstract: | The Monte Carlo method has been used in the microstructure simulations of unidirectional solidification, bidirectional solidification, multidirectional in ward solidification and bulk solidification. The simulated microstructures are similar to the experiment results. Finally, the disadvantage of using Monte Carlo method in the simulation of microstructrue are analysed. |
