A Solitary Person in Wasteland--On the spirit of ZHANG Aai-ling's novels

Owing much to her writing gift,ZHANG Aai-ling is peculiar experience made her pessimistic outlook which found the expression in her literature works.In her picky sight she gave a full exposure of selfishness,coldness and cruelness in human*ss nature,especialy in blood predestined relationship.She sharply pointed out:It was money,selfishness and abnormal that killed the affinity.She told us in her novels that there was no true love in this world.Anyhow,the unpersonal style and stories in her novels came from both her solitary spirit and what she felt most passionately.She was a truely solitary,hopeless person in wasteland.
