多层基片集成波导增益均衡器的设计与实现

摘    要:针对传统微波增益均衡器所存在的缺陷,提出了一种基于基片集成波导(SIW)的新型毫米波微波增益均衡器。该均衡器采用多层SIW,可以很方便的设计耦合结构、缩小器件体积;同时引入薄膜电阻,首次实现了SIW均衡器Q值的可调性。文章首先对该均衡器的等效电路模型进行了分析,推导了各个结构要素的调节规律;其次借助HFSS仿真软件对上述推导进行了验证;最后针对某行波管加工实现了一支SIW均衡器,并将行波管的增益波动降低至1.25 d B。实验结果表明,该SIW均衡器易于加工实现,且具有较强的均衡能力。

Design and implementation of the multi-layer substrate integrated waveguide microwave gain equalizer
Abstract:Aiming at the deficiency of traditional microwave gain equalizer, it proposes a novel millimeter wave microwave gain equalizer based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW). The proposed equalizer is composed of multilayer SIW, which can easily design coupling structures and reduce equalizer size. And it uses thin film resistor that makes Q value adjustment possible. In this paper, firstly it analyzes equivalent circuit model of the proposed equalizer and parameter adjustment rules. Then it uses simulation software HFSS to prove the above conclusion. At last a SIW equalizer is achieved, which can make the gain fluctuation of traveling wave tube reduced to 1.25dB. The experimental results show that the proposed equalizer can be processed easily and has strong ability of equilibrium.
