隋初恩威并用对岭南的统一

开皇九年（589）授命大将韦洸率军南下，恩威并施，进驻岭南，并拉拢岭南地方实力派冼（冯）氏家族，使得国家力量较为顺利的进入了岭南地区。与此同时，隋文帝又派遣永州总管周法尚带领军队开进桂州，充分利用“兵威”使得一批尚奉陈朝正朔的地方官员纷纷降服。开皇十年（590），番禺王仲宣发动地方叛乱，更加坚定了隋王朝施行恩威并用的决心，从而将岭南整合入于王朝秩序之中，为后来我国统一多民族国家的巩固与发展奠定了坚实的基础。

Pacification and Force:Preliminary Stage of Sui Dynasty’s Unification of Ling Nan

In 589 AD, the emperor （Yang Jian） gave Wei Guang, a general of the new empire, an important mission ,which was conquer the area named Ling Nan in south of China. At last, Wei Guang finished this mission. Meanwhile, the emperor （Yang Jian） sent another general, Zhou Fashang, and mission-entering into Gui Zhou with the troops. Moreover, because of the rebellion launched by Wang Zhongxuan in 590 AD, the central government started to reinforce the management to Ling Nan. Thanks to the right measures, the central government was able to govern the frontier region in south of the empire effectively.
