| Abstract: | By reviewing the development of Chinese heat treatment technology, the necessity and possibility of scientificiy redefining the terminology of the present heat treatment methods are proved, and the principles and the ways of defining various kinds of heat treatment methods by using metallographic microstructure are also expounded. |
