The Application of Network Simulator in E-Education

The protocol of computer networks is considered a nonfigurative conception and inapprehensible. In fact,the key to understanding protocol is to understand the protocol implementation code.But the practical code is too complex for students to study. To solve this problem, it is taken as a good way to let students build up a simple computer network, and design and implement a suit of simple protocol for the network with a network simulator. Ns2 is just the needed network simulator which can help students gaina better under standing of the protocol.
