摘    要:铁路运输具有距离与规模两方面的经济性,铁路部门也一直把大批量中长途货物运输作为其目标市场。但运输需求的生成是递远递减的,因此探讨铁路短距离大规模运输产品策略就很有意义了。本文从理论上论述铁路短途运输方案可行的基本条件,并具体讨论珠江三角地区与盐田港之间开发集装箱运输产品的可行性。

Abstract:Railway transport has both distance and scale economy, so the railway companies always regard large scale and long distance freight transport as their objective markets. However the transport demand is becoming less with the distance now. It is meaningful to explore a production strategy of short haul & large scale transport. This paper not only theoretically discusses the basic conditions of short haul transport, but also practically researches the feasibility between Zhujiang Delta and Yantian Port.
