| 摘 要： | 论述20世纪五六十年代在麦卡锡主义的政治高压下,中国学在美国濒临灭绝。福特基金会不仅出巨资拯救中国学,为美国重新打开中国之门提供了知识和人才准备,而且还资助美国对华政策项目的研究,直接影响着美国对华政策舆论的改变。

| Abstract: | The thesis discusses China study was on the verge of extinction from 1950s to 1960s, on the political pressure of McCarthyism. The Ford foundation not only afforded a huge sum of money to save China study. That provided the knowledge and talent for United States to open the door of China. The Ford foundation also financed the research of America＇s China policy project. And it had a direct influence on public opinion to change U.S. policy toward China. |
