| Abstract: | There exists a cell delay variation (CDV) phenomenon resulted from the inner buffers and ATM multiplexing when the cells are transported over ATM.It is obvious that the CDV phenomenon is harmful to adaptive clock recovery of constant bit rate (CBR) services based on PLL technique.A new scheme is presented here,which can drastically decrease the jitter/wander resulted from CDV,while the buffer size needn't be enlarged. |
