Abstract:By using the directory based self-configuration, a Network mEasurement System Platform called NESP consists of 3 components, i.e., a register server, monitor centers and probes. Based on NESP, many network management functions including realtime flow monitoring, historical flow data analysis, threshold alarm and access control are provided. The methods of designing and implementing the system are introduced and the basic procedures are described.
