| Abstract: | Summary The levels of ammonia assimilatory enzymes have been studied in a nif–III mutant and a wild strain ofAzotobacter chroococcum grown in media containing different nitrogen sources. It is suggested that the nif–III mutant may be defective in transport or incorporation of molybdenum. |
