论美国TC的学科属性

摘    要:通过文献分析和实地询证方法介绍美国Technical Communication(简称TC)学科的历史起源、内容和定位,并通过比较TC不同的中文表述,对TC学科与语言学、传播学、人文学、理工学科等领域的交叉特性进行论述。认为Tc是一门以人文学角度思考用户为中心,以语言修辞、传播技巧为手段,利用计算机信息技术对各专业领域的信息有效传播和沟通方式进行指导的学科,具有很强的职场实用性。指出为助力中国教育的国际化,TC值得更多的国内学者了解与关注。

Abstract:Based on literature study and field consultation with American scholars, and the reviews of its different expressions in Chinese, the paper introduces and discusses American Technical Communication (TC) interdisciplinary features from its historical development, program content and academic location in U. S, The discussion shows that TC is a discipline heavily touched with humanistic consideration of users through application of rhetoric, communication techniques. At reliance of computer science, TC features itself of high practicality in taking various technical information as its study focus, and in offering effective approaches to professional communication activities. The value of TC is worth more attention in China to enhance Chinese education globalization.
