| Abstract: | The fluorescent compounds, two series of N substituted 1,8 naphthalimides, were synthesized from 1,8 Naphthalic anhydride using alkaline catalyst KF/Al 2O 3. The relationship of their structures and the UV and fluorescent properties were disscussed. |
