中国学习思想的特征及现代学术价值

这是作者为<中国学习思想通史>写的一篇<序>.作者认为,中国古代学习思想的基本特征是以儒学思想为主导的,以经典为学习文本的、诸子与释道为补充的多元并存的形态.现代学习思想的基本特征是以中西文化的冲撞与融合为背景的,以批判传统和学习西方科技为特征的创新形态.而古代与现代有继承而不可截然分割,又有明显的区别.从总体上看中国传统学习思想是"天人合一"的模式,分而言之,它有四个显著的特点:人通过学习所要达到的是智慧之境;知行观是中国学习思想中极为重要的问题;中国学习思想中贯穿着一条王官之学与民间之学互动、感应、消长的规律;史官文化形态是中国学习思想的显著特征之一.中国学习思想统摄多个学科,涉及到人文社会科学与自然科学的各个领域,具有知识论与智慧论内涵的研究课题.现代化要求学习从个人行为转变为"全民学习,终身教育",促进人的全面发展,以实现全面建设小康社会的战略任务.

Characteristic of Chinese Study Thoughts and Modern Academic Value

This is the preface for The History of Chinese Study Thoughts. The author thinks that the primary restores of ancient Chinese study thought are in the form that is dominated by Confucian thoughts, that takes classic as its study text and that co-exist multiply with school thoughts and Buddhism as it compensation. The major characteristics of modern study thoughts are in the innovative form that uses the collision and mixing of Chinese and western culture as its background and that features critically assimilation of the tradition and learning western scientific technology. There is inheritance between Modern and ancient Chinese study thoughts and they cannot be separated, but they also have distinctive differences. Generally, the model of Chinese traditional study thoughts is the combination o universe and human beings. It has four significant characteristics. Firstly, what man wants to achieve through studies is wisdom. Secondly, the theory of the unity of knowing and doing is very important issue on Chinese study thoughts. Thirdly, a law in Chinese study thoughts is interaction, response and change between public schools and private schools. Lastly, the significant feature of Chinese study thoughts is historiographer culture. Chinese study thoughts involves several disciplines, including fields in humanities and science with research subjects of knowledge and wisdom theory. Modern demands on study change from individual study to lifelong education of all people. So as to promote overall development of all people and to achieve the strategic task of constructing a well -off society.
