曲率效应对金属碳纳米管局域化长度的影响

摘    要:基于π轨道紧束缚模型,并考虑曲率效应的影响,解析地推导了金属(即扶手椅型)碳纳米管的局域化长度.发现,考虑曲率效应后,扶手椅型碳纳米管的局域化长度变长;还发现,曲率效应对扶手椅型碳纳米管局域化长度的影响随碳纳米管的半径的增加而迅速减小.

Abstract:. Based on π orbital tight-binding model and including the curvature effect, the localization length of the metallic carbon nanotubes, i.e. the armchair carbon nanotubes, has been derived analyti-cally. It is found that, including the curvature effect, the localization length of armchair nanotubes be-comes longer. It is also found that the curvature effect on localization length decreases with increasing radius of carbon nanotube.
