| Abstract: | In view of some differences between researches on the liquid jet gas pump inside and outside the country, this paper gives an additional investigation with an experimental set of the small type. A series of tests is made for different area ratios and different mixing tube length to diameter ratios of the jet pump with helical strip, inserted in the nozzle. comparisons are made with the experimental data for the nozzle without insertion. A kind of former equation of one-dimensional flow analysis for the jet pump is revised. Empirical formula for determining the loss coefficient in the equation is obtained by the regression of experimental data. The results can be taken as useful reference in engineering practice. |
