| Abstract: | The influence of the ambient temperature in engine room and the amount of engine room ventilation on the operation of marine main diesel engine was analyzed briefly, and the countermeasures of the start of cold engine and the engine precautions under extremely cold ambient temperature condition were introduced, for example,scavenge air bypass/blow-off and exhaust gas bypass. Finally, the management measures of engine room ventilation system were given. |
