| Abstract: | This paper introduces the main methods of poverty measurement and the index for measuring poverty scale and degree in the world, and then compares the differences of measurement between China and other countries. It also tries to discuss how China could use international poverty measurement to serve its purpose of anti - poverty strategy. |
