Application of Suggestopedia to ELT in China

Suggestopedia,a teaching method initiated in the 1970s by the Bulgarian psychiatrist-educator Georgi Lozanov,focusing on how to deal with the relationship between mental potential and learning efficiency gives enlightening thoughts to researchers who are doing English Language Teaching(hereinafter ELT).This paper aims to make an in-depth analysis and evaluation of this teaching method and tries to apply it in the classroom teaching by making a lesson plan according to its principles.
