Risk investment is comparatively new but well-known in China, and it is not long since its emergence in other countries. But it is becoming increasingly popular in the world for its unique charm and many people become millionaires and billionaires overnight for the benefit of thousands of times. Risk investment is a behavior of financiers investing equity capital into the new, rapidly developing and competitiveness-potential enterprises, which are generally of high technology. Based on its characteristics and significance, and after an analysis on some of its problems in China, the paper proposes some ideas for the development of risk development in China.
