摘    要:建立了一种用微机实时测量雄果蝇求偶歌中特征脉冲间隔(ipi)节律的新方法。首次验证比较了Kyriacou等的工作,黑腹果蝇(D.melanogaster)的ipi节律周期平均值约为53秒,但这一节律仅表现于部分果蝇的求偶歌中。

Abstract:The interpulse intervals (ipi) of pulselike bursts of the courtship songs producedby the males of many Drosophila species are species specific and hence acted as anisolation factor among different species. it was reported that, however, the meanvalue of ipi per 10 seconds fluctuated rhythmically with time and that the period ofthis rhythm might serve as an even more important isolation factor. As the first steptoward clarifying this rhythmic phenomenon, it was developed that a new methodof real-time measurement of the rhythm with microcomputer used as a chrono-meter. The mean period of the rhythm in D. melanogaster was found to be nearly53 seconds. It was also found that the rhythmicity was exhibited only by some ofthe males within a population.
