| 摘 要： | 概述图书编目工作及其沿革，展望编目工作的发展趋势。认为科学的编目工作模式是指用合适的人和人数在适当的环节完成相应的工作，既要各尽所长又要避免人员浪费和重复劳动。提出编目工作应在图书馆界、发行界和出版界三者联合的大格局下实现业务分项化、技能专业化、人员结构合理化以及业务环节合理化。
