跨文化交际中的文化干扰与外语教学

不同文化背景的人在交际过程中由于对另一方民族文化缺乏必要的了解,想当然地将本民族的习惯或文化模式套用或强加到所学语言上去,这是产生交际故障的一个重要原因.本文从词汇内涵、文化习俗、价值体系和思维定式四个方面对此现象进行了分析,并提出了外语教学中加强文化教学的一些看法和建议.

Cultural Interference in Cross-cultural Communication and ELT

In cross-cultural communication, owing to lack of essential acquisition of the other culture, people always impose unconsciously their language habit or cultural connotation on target language. This is one of the main causes of the barrier in communication. This paper analyses the fact on the four aspects of word connotation, cultural customs and conventions, system of value and mode of thinking. The author also puts forward some suggestions on how to solve the problem in ELT.
