Discussion on Case Study in Financial Accounting Course

Case teaching and theory teaching are two important methods for financial accounting course. In order to enforce case teaching in financial accounting course, the paper states the basis of the course is to choose suitable case, make some amendments and form a database and the key is to connect cases and the contents of the course effectively and organize case teaching by means of modern information platform. In addition, self-study by students can be encouraged under the detailed grade policy which can play the role of guidance. If a case is designed effectively, case teaching is helpful for showing the relationship between financial accounting and other curriculums, which can realize the expansion of case teaching in financial accounting course.
