Abstract:this paper develops a software system for subsea pipeline damage assessment named SPAS. It not only can do the assessment for different kinds of anchor impact damage, but also can conduct the parameter sensitivity analyses such as the protection effect of the concrete coating on the anchor impaction and damage effect of anchor's weight, etc. Therefore, the system in this paper can provide a new tool for the pipeline third-party impact damage assessment.
