| Abstract: | This paper presents the essential parameters of the four-bar linkage,their meanings and potential applications. The parameters are calculated by means of Engineering Method. Meanwhile,a software schema for CAD is included and offered for readers' use in synthesis of mechanisms. And a discussion of the theoretical evolution of the mechanism and a bibliography are also provided. |
